LEVEL 1

Learning the Holy Qur'an Step by Step from Zero

This programme is designed for adults who have never learned to read the Holy Qur'an, or who believe they have completely forgotten the letters after a long break. Free from pressure, with patient guidance that fully adapts to your own learning pace, we walk the path from zero to fluent reading together.

🎯 Who Is This Course For?

  • Those learning the Qur'anic letters for the very first time.
  • Those who learned in the past but have completely forgotten the letters, sounds and basic rules.
  • Those who feel hesitant about making mistakes in crowded classes and want to learn at their own pace with a private teacher.
What Is in the Curriculum?
  • The Anatomy of the Letters: The names of the letters, their independent written forms and how they change shape within a word (at the beginning, middle and end).
  • Makhraj (Sound and Pronunciation): Practical exercises on the correct articulation points of the letters — throat, tongue and lips.
  • Vowel Marks and Elongations: The logic of fatha, kasra and damma; the effect of sukun, shadda, tanwin and madd (elongation) marks on reading.
  • Word and Verse Analysis: Practice joining letters fluently as whole words, without spelling them out syllable by syllable.
What Will You Gain?
  • Confident Reading: When you open the pages of the Holy Qur'an, the letters will no longer feel foreign — you will gain the confidence to read with the correct sounds on your own.
  • A Lasting Makhraj Foundation: You will not only recognise the letters; you will learn to pronounce difficult letters such as "Ha", "Kha", "Ayn" and "Ghayn" with the most accurate phonetics.
  • Time Management and Flexibility: You will enjoy the comfort of lessons planned entirely around your busy work and daily life.
  • From Plain Reading to Fluency: By breaking through the spelling barrier, you will build a clean foundation, ready for the next level: reading with tajweed.

Tajweed
LEVEL 2

Intermediate — Fluent Reading with Tajweed & Tashih-i Huruf

This programme is for those who can read the Qur'an but read slowly, stumble, or have never fully grasped the logic of the tajweed rules. We teach the rules not by hearsay, but by understanding their theoretical logic without mental strain, and making them permanent through direct practice. Our goal is for you to know every rule by name and in essence, and reach a self-assured level of recitation.

🎯 Who Is This Course For?

  • Those who can read the Qur'an but are slow or stumble when joining the letters.
  • Those who apply tajweed rules but do not fully know "what they are doing in which verse", and aim for a conscious recitation.
  • Those who want to leave faulty reading habits behind and settle the original articulation points of the letters (Tashih-i Huruf).
What Is in the Curriculum?
  • Articulation Points & Attributes of the Letters (Throat, Tongue and Lip Letters; the Oral Cavity (Jawf) & Nasal Sound (Ghunnah); the Attributes of the Letters — the system of light and heavy letters)
  • Rules of Nun Sakinah & Tanwin: Izhar, Idgham (with and without ghunnah), Ikhfa and Iqlab
  • Rules of Mim Sakinah: Labial Izhar, Idgham Mithlayn and Labial Ikhfa
  • Elongations (the Madd System): Madd Tabii, Muttasil, Munfasil, Lazim, Arid and Madd Lin
  • Types of Idgham: Mithlayn, Mutaqaribayn and Mutajanisayn
  • Special Readings and Rules: The states of Ra (heavy, light and both), Lafzatullah (the heavy/light rules of the Lam in the word "Allah"), the rules of doubled Nun and Mim, Sakt and its rules, the readings of the Huruf Muqatta'a, verses of prostration (Sajdah), the pronoun (Ha of Kinayah) and the Qalqalah rules
  • The Aesthetics of Reading and Pauses: Waqf and Ibtida (the art of stopping at the right place and starting from the right place), Mawsulah and Maqtu'ah Alif, pause marks, the Qamari and Shamsi letters, the transition rules of Isti'adhah and Basmalah
What Will You Gain?
  • Conscious Recitation: On any page you open, you will read knowing which tajweed rule applies and why it is read that way — without fear of making mistakes.
  • Flawless Phonetics: You will pronounce similar-sounding letters (ص-س / ط-ت / ح-هـ) precisely as they should be, without blurring them.
  • Rules That Become Reflexes: Because you absorb theory directly through practice, you will not pause to ask "what was the rule here?" — your mind will apply the rules automatically.
  • Ready for the Summit: By completely eliminating letter, rule and makhraj errors, you will become ready for the "Maqam Knowledge and Beautiful Recitation" lessons.

Qira'at and maqam
LEVEL 3

Advanced — Qira'at, Beautiful Recitation & Maqam Knowledge

This programme is designed for our advanced students who know the tajweed rules and have reached a fluent reading level. In the first step of the training, we identify and completely eliminate any remaining or unnoticed tajweed errors from the past. Then, leaving monotone transitions behind, we aim to explore the limits of the voice and apply the noble maqams of religious music authentically — knowing their notes, without instruments, and without ever harming the wording patterns of the Qur'an.

🎯 Who Is This Course For?

  • Those who recite the Holy Qur'an fluently with tajweed, but aim for a more moving and refined recitation beyond a flat tone.
  • Those who serve as imams, muezzins or Qur'an teachers, or who want to raise themselves to the highest level in these fields.
  • Those who want to perform the maqams not by hearsay, but with their theoretical logic, their notes, and in keeping with Qur'anic phonetics.
What Is in the Curriculum?
  • Closing the Fundamental Gaps: Analysing your recitation before starting and ensuring that no small tajweed errors remain.
  • Voice Training and Breathing Techniques (Diaphragm Control): Techniques for reading long verses without running out of breath, correct diaphragm use, and exercises to protect the vocal cords and manage voice colour and timbre.
  • The 8 Fundamental Maqams of Qur'anic Recitation:
    • Rast — The backbone of Qur'anic recitation; a dignified, balanced and joyful stance.
    • Hijaz — From the depths of the desert; sorrow, reverence and complete surrender.
    • Saba — Deeply stirring the heart; a tearful, sorrowful and heartfelt plea.
    • Nihavend — Restful to the soul; calm, noble, serene and aesthetic transitions.
    • Ushshaq — From the heart of Anatolia; a sincere, loving and mystical tone.
    • Segah — A sublime ascent; festive joy, relief and an air of gratitude.
    • Husayni — Scented with longing and exile; solemn and sorrowful, yet upright.
    • Kurdi — Emotional and touching; a contemporary, flowing cry that speaks to the heart.
  • The Art of Transition (Gechki) Between Maqams: Building aesthetic bridges from one maqam to another without disrupting the flow of reading or the quality of the letters.
  • Harmony of Meaning and Expression (the Art of Tamthil): Giving the voice emotion and emphasis according to the message of the verse (glad tidings, punishment, supplication, command); reading in a way that makes the listener feel the meaning.
  • The Art of Waqf and Ibtida (the Art of Pausing): Techniques for stopping verses aesthetically at the right place according to the flow of the maqam, and starting again while preserving the integrity of meaning.
What Will You Gain?
  • A Flawless and Authentic Recitation: With all your tajweed gaps reduced to zero, you will develop a style of recitation that inspires reverence in listeners, far from monotony and fully faithful to the rules.
  • Conscious Voice Management: Knowing which register of your voice (low, middle, high) to use in which verse, you will be able to recite with quality for long periods without tiring your voice.
  • A Measured and Balanced Recitation: You will learn never to sacrifice the articulation of the letters or the tajweed rules while applying a maqam — that fine balance of making music serve the Qur'an.
